LEMASTER, of Bedington, Berkeley Co., s/o Philip Henry and Mary Ann (OLLER) TABLER (60/61), d. 11 Feb 1888, Berkeley Co., m. 25 Mar 1860, Berkeley Co., (31) Mary E. MOORE (62/63), b. c1837, d/o Joseph and Mary (WALTERS) MOORE (62/63), d. 23 Jan 1920. In 1840 Joshua was living alone in Berkeley Co. He had m. 1st., 1 Dec 1841, (2 Oct in the Christian TABLER'S Bible Record) Harriet Elizabeth TABLER, b. 9 Sep 1819, d/o Christian TABLER (120.5), 19 Jun 1857, age 37y 9m 10d. Joshua and Harriet were first cousins. Christian TABLER was the suretor for the marriage, and a brother of Philip Henry TABLER, father of Joshua. The minister for the marriage was John Light. By his first wife, he had 5 children; by Mary MOORE, he had 5 more. Joshua and Mary TABLER are buried in Scrabble Cemetery, Scrabble, Berkeley Co., WV. In 1849, Joshua received from the Levy Court, $1.00 for a fox scalp, indicating that there must have been a bounty on foxes in Berkeley Co. at the time. From 1850 to 1880 he was farming in Berkeley Co., specifically in Hedgesville in 1870. (PI23, 47-48, WVBEB3, WVBE1, 3, 11-14) Children:

30.6 Rosa Matilda TABLER, b. Sep 1962, WV, m. 1885, m. John Winfield Scott EMERSON b. Oct 1862, WV. In 1900 through 1920 they were living in Falling Waters, Berkeley Co., WV. IN 1920 Carl Nunamaker 33, and Alda W. Nunamaker were boarders in the household. One of these daughters was the mother of Winfield 'Winnie' LLOYD of Fallings Waters. (PI47)
