Margaret (MONG) SEIBERT (98/99), d. 20 Dec 1850, Berkeley Co. Both are
buried in the MYERS Cemetery at Sprinkles Mill. (O2, WVBE1,
9, 10, 11, 18) Children:
WILL: Henry MYERS: In the name of God Amen. I Henry MYERS of Berkeley Co., and
State of Virginia, being of sound mind and disposing memory, and taking in
consideration the uncertainly of this mortal life, and wishing to settle my
worldly affairs, do make and publish this to be my last will and testament and
hereby revoking all other former wills by me made. First It is my will that my
executor herein after named to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses out of
my personal estate. Secondly I will and bequeath all the balances of my estate
both real and personal to be divided equally among my children as follows; to
Elizabeth COUCHMAN wife of John COUCHMAN, David MYERS, Mary
SMALL wife of Adam SMALL, Catherine MYERS, Jacob MYERS,
Henry MYERS, Susannah HERRING wife of D. K HERRING each to
have one ninth part and to the children of my daughter Harriet HERRING
now deceased one ninth part equally divided between them, and to the children of
my daughter Sarah COUCHMAN now deceased one ninth part to between them.
Thirdly It is my will and desire that the share bequeathed to the children of my
deceased daughter Harriet HERRING, is to remain in the hands of my
executor and by him managed to the best advantage, until they arrive
respectively at the age of 21 years or day of marriage, at which time he is to
deliver the whole property and the proceeds thereof to them share and share
alike. But in case they both die under the age of 21 years unmarried and without
issue their in that event their whole share is to revert back to my estate and
be equally divided between my other heirs named in this will and upon the same
terms and conditions of the other bequeath in this will in no event is any part
of their share to go to their father but must revert back to my other heirs
named in this will. Fourthly It is my will and desire that the share allotted to
my daughter Susannah HERRING is to into the hands of my son David MYERS
as her trustee, but in case he refuses to act or may die then it must go unto
the hands of any person she may select, be to pay her the proceeds of the same
annually during her natural life and at her death go to her children, but in
case she should die without having any living issue the whole share is to revert
back to my estate and be equally divided between my other heirs named in this
will, upon the same terms and conditions of the other bequeaths in this will but
in case she shall survive her husband Daniel K. HERRING, in that event
her trustee is to deliver the whole share to her that she may have the full
possessions and enjoyments of the same with the privilege to dispose of it as
she may see proper. Lastly, I nominate and appoint my son David MYERS to
be executor hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 20th day of August

Virginia in the County Court of Berkeley, Feb Term 1860, The last will and
testament of Henry MYERS deceased was produced in court and proven by the
oaths of Henry C. Welshans and Andrew W. McCleary witnesses thereto and is
ordered to be recorded, and on the motion of David MYERS, the executor
therein named who made oath according to law, who thereupon entered into the
acknowledged bond in the penalty of $6000, conditioned according to law
certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate of said will in due form. A
copy teste, E. G. Alburtis, C. B. C.; Recorded in Will Book 20 page 375; State
of West Virginia, County of Berkeley, 12 December 1903. The within will was this
