Samuel, the oldest son, reports in a census record that he was b. in PA. It is entirely possible that being near the PA boarder that the family at one time lived and farmed across the line in PA. In this census, there are 2 males under 10 (Samuel and George), 1 male 10-16 (unidentified), and 1 male 26-45 (Henry, head); 3 females under 10 (Elizabeth, Sarah, unidentified), 1 female 26-45 (unidentified wife). The child Henry may be that unidentified male 10-16. By 1820, they were in Bath (Berkeley Springs), Morgan Co., VA. In 1820, the family consisted of 1 male under 10 (unidentified), 1 male 10-16 (unidentfied), 1 male 16-26 (Andrew Jackson?), 2 males 26-45 (Henry, head, Henry, the child); 1 female under 10 (unidentified), 1 female 10-16 (Elizabeth), 1 female 15-26 (Sarah), and 2 females 26-45 (wife, unidentified, and other). The bondsmen for the first marriage were Sameul CRONE and John DAVIS.  The bondsmen fore the second marriage were Samuel CRONE and Robert P. GUSTIN. George Crone was a carpenter living in Morgan Co. in 1850. In 1860, son George and wife, Sarah F., were living in the household. In 1870, Margaret has a Caroline age 9, which appears to be a CRONE dau.. but in 1880, this Caroline is listed as Caroline Thompson, age 18, and is a black domestic servant. also Frank Thompson, 36, and Robert Thompson, 4, are also there, and listed as domestic servants. George was a carpenter, residing with Aburdi Gustin, a farmer, b. in NY in 1850. He and Sarah  F. were living with his mother, Margaret, in 1860. Charles was a carpenter, living in Allen District, Morgan Co.; a laborer in 1910 and 1920. In 1920, Dora is dead and  Ann E., Charles's mother, is in the household. They are buried at Mt.
